COMPLETED
ESRC ‘Youth, Citizenship
and Social Change’ Programme
Background
This major project was completed in 2002, although dissemination activities are still underway. The ‘Youth, citizenship and social change’ programme was a major youth research project, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). The broad aim of the programme was to aid understanding of the way that young people aged 16-25 make the transition to adult life.
Research projects and activities
The programme involved 17 linked projects, undertaken by researchers from across the UK. These projects took place between 1998 and 2002. Liza Catan was the Programme Director, and was based at TSA for the duration of the Programme. One of the 17 projects was undertaken by Debi Roker, also from TSA. See separate ‘completed’ project sheet.
A detailed list of projects and outputs is now available; books, reports, briefing papers, etc. For further information please contact ESRC, Press Enquiries and Publications. E-mail: comms@esrc.ac.uk or tel: 01793 413 122
